Terms and Conditions for Lawyers and Legal Consultants

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of legal services provided by REDA AL-SAYED & PARTNERS ("the Firm"), including but not limited to consultations, legal representation, and advisory services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the Firm’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Scope of Services

• Consultation: The Firm offers legal consultations to provide advice and guidance on legal matters.
• Representation: The Firm may represent clients in legal proceedings, negotiations, and other legal matters.
• Advisory Services: The Firm provides ongoing legal advice and support as needed.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate and complete information relevant to their legal matters.
• Cooperation: Clients are expected to cooperate fully with the Firm, including timely responses to requests for information and documentation.

4. Fees and Payment

• Fee Structure: The Firm’s fees are based on an hourly rate, fixed fee, or contingency fee as agreed upon in the engagement letter.
• Invoicing: The Firm will invoice clients periodically, typically on a monthly basis.
• Payment Terms: Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Late payments may incur interest charges as specified in the engagement letter.
• Retainer: The Firm may require a retainer fee, which will be used to offset future billing.

5. Confidentiality

• Client Information: The Firm will maintain the confidentiality of all client information unless disclosure is required by law or the client provides consent.
• Attorney-Client Privilege: Communications between the client and the Firm are protected under attorney-client privilege, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

6. Conflict of Interest

• Identification: The Firm will conduct a conflict of interest check before accepting a new client or matter.
• Disclosure and Consent: If a conflict of interest is identified, the Firm will disclose it to the client and may require written consent to proceed.

7. Termination of Services

• By the Client: Clients may terminate the Firm’s services at any time by providing written notice.
• By the Firm: The Firm may terminate services if the client fails to cooperate, does not pay fees, or for other reasons as permitted by law.
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, the client is responsible for all fees and expenses incurred up to the termination date.

8. Limitation of Liability

• No Guarantees: The Firm does not guarantee specific outcomes and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Liability Cap: The Firm’s liability for any claim related to its services is limited to the amount paid by the client for those services.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].
• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as agreed by both parties.

10. Amendments

• Changes to Terms: The Firm may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
• Acceptance of Amendments: Continued use of the Firm’s services after amendments signifies acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

11. Miscellaneous

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, along with the engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between the Firm and the client.

By engaging the Firm’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
